WEEK10 - INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN

Hello there! 🙋As for this week, I want to share about a new topic that I just learned which is Instructional Design. Instructional design is a systematic process of creating instructional materials, modules, or lessons. It is the combination of education, psychology, and communication in order to create effective teaching plans for students. The process of instructional design carefully considers the students’ needs so that they will be able to achieve their academic goals.

From my point of view, instructional design is cost effective as it creates high-quality learning materials by considering the strengths and weaknesses of the students as it sets the stage for a successful learning experience. Above all, the main benefit that I could see from instructional design is that it encourages the participation of learners. Nowadays, living in the world with the advancement of technology, students are more interested with the use of technology. Thus, teacher-centred learning somehow becomes less effective.

Here, I would like to share the different types of instructional design models that I learned in class;

That’s all for this week. Stay tuned! Bye! 💛
