Image
Hi peeps! How time flies – I am already in the final week! Which means final examination is just around the corner… But, never mind. I am still excited as I am going back to my hometown soon! 🙆 Peeps! You know what? We had completed and published our e-learning courseware! Click here to see the outcome, peeps! Other than that, we did our online quiz which I need to recall back what I had learned from the first week until now and I guess I did it well (I hope so)  To recap, I feel grateful that I have been given this chance to learn Internet Technologies for Language (ESP402). A lot of new things and experience I got throughout learning this subject. Previously, I do not know how to deal with software like Smart Builder, but after struggling to finish up our group e-learning courseware, I believed that handling technology is not difficult if you have the desire to explore more on it. Plus, I am now able to design my own template by using Canva! It feels satisfying w...

WEEK13 - E-LEARNING COURSEWARE: THE PROGRESS

Image
Hi there! As for this week, my groupmates and I started to create E-Learning courseware that teaches comparative adjective. The process somehow feels quite smooth since it is easier to understand on how to use the courseware (Smart Builder). We decided to go with the theme of neighborhood because we wanted to create an interesting and fun learning program in line with our title ' Comparative Adjective for Beginners '. Wait! Did I say the process feels quite smooth earlier? OMG! I guess I am daydreaming because when Madam Azida started to teach us on creating hotspot , inserting audio ,   and   adding templates , I started to lose focus. Too many buttons to click on. "Where am I? What should I do?" that thought kept on running in my mind. Due to that, I decided to have a one-on-one lesson with Madam Azida. With enough guidance, now I am able to sort things out. Right after that, I shared what I had learned with my friends and later we sat down together to ...

WEEK12 - E-LEARNING COURSEWARE: SMART BUILDER

Image
Hi peeps! I guess I look like a zombie now. I got a lot of assignments to be submitted :’) but never mind, I won’t forget to update my blog! This week, I learned another new thing which is E-learning ! E-learning is actually lessons that are conducted by using electronic media, typically on the internet. Apart from that, Madam Azida had introduced courseware that can be used to create e-learning course and it is called as Smart Builder . What is it? Okay, so Smart Builder is an e-learning authoring tool that is used to create an e-learning with scenarios, gamification, assessments, branching, and more. Sounds interesting, right? But I am struggling here with all the buttons that I need to click in order to produce my own e-learning courseware. However, I feel blessed that my lecturer is here to guide me from A to Z in using this software. If you are interested to use this software, click this link https://www.smartbuilder.com/  and install the software on ...

Hi peeps! How are you doing? I am here struggling with everything as my semester almost comes to an end. Before I forgot, here is our group's poster on this model. WEEK10 - INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN

Image
Hello there! 🙋As for this week, I want to share about a new topic that I just learned which is Instructional Design . Instructional design is a systematic process of creating instructional materials, modules, or lessons. It is the combination of education, psychology, and communication in order to create effective teaching plans for students. The process of instructional design carefully considers the students’ needs so that they will be able to achieve their academic goals. From my point of view, instructional design is cost effective as it creates high-quality learning materials by considering the strengths and weaknesses of the students as it sets the stage for a successful learning experience. Above all, the main benefit that I could see from instructional design is that it encourages the participation of learners. Nowadays, living in the world with the advancement of technology, students are more interested with the use of technology. Thus, teacher-centred learning someh...

WEEK9 - EXPLAINER VIDEO: THE OUTCOME

Image
Hello peeps! I’m back! 😜 All of you must be curious with how my group’s explainer video would be, right? Don’t worry. Here I am sharing the video with all of you. After all the hardships that we had gone through, we managed to come up with this video in which somehow I am proud of it. Even though my narration sounds like I am full of anger, but trust me I’m not. To make it clear, the purpose of this video is to promote positive environment as in today’s world, with the presence of social media, people tend to downgrade other people without knowing that it will give harm to the person. Hence, I hope that through this video, people out there will be more aware of this issue. Below is our group’s explainer video entitled ‘ Anti-Cyber Bullying Campaign - #STOPHATE ’. Do watch the video and gain more information in order to spread awareness regarding this issue to the world. I guess that’s all for now. See you in the next post! 💛

WEEK8 - EXPLAINER VIDEO!

Image
Hi peeps! 🙋 I’m back again with new things to share. As for this week classes, Madam Azida had assigned us with a new assignment. We were required to create an explainer video about a campaign with a duration of 2 – 3 minutes. Madam Azida suggested us to use online video maker or creators such as Powtoon , Animaker , and etc. After discussing with my groupmates; Atikah and Shalini, we chose to make an explainer video about anti-cyber bullying campaign. This is because in today’s world, with the presence of social media, people tend to downgrade other people without knowing that it will give harm to the person. So, the topic of our video is ‘ Anti-Cyber Bullying Campaign - #STOPHATE ’. I believed that through explainer video, we could deliver the message and persuade the people to overcome cyber-bullying in a wide range. If the video created can attract people, they will share it with their friends. Besides, explainer videos are always the perfect pitch as you can share it thr...
