WEEK5 - EDITING PODCAST!
Yeah… that is basically me this week. Why
am I an IT illiterate?! Oh God! I am clueless with all this editing thing. I hope
I can cope with all this until the end of this semester. Pray for me.
Last week, I had reviewed a
podcast entitled ‘5 Ways to Battle Burnout’. So, how was it? Have you listened
to the podcast? I hope you have. As for this week, my partner, Atikah, and I need
to come out with our own podcast. We chose to make a podcast about body shaming
as both of us had gone through it and here is the link! https://soundcloud.com/tikaa-zolkiffli/body-shaming-amanina-atikah. Do listen to the podcast! Remember that each and everyone of us are beautiful in our own way 😍
During class, Madam Azida
taught us from A to Z on how to edit the audio for podcast. There are a few software
and applications that can be used in editing the podcast which are BandLab,
Audacity, and many more. As for a first timer like me, it was very tough but
with guidance from Madam Azida, I managed to go through it. Even though it was
hard at first, but trust me the outcome will be superb! All in all, the most
important thing is to keep on practicing using the software and you will be
able to create a good podcast.
Here I would like to share a few tips that
Madam Azida gave us in order to have a good podcast which are;
- plan your podcast by having a script
- record the voice in a place with minimal noise
- make sure that the distance between mouth and microphone is the same
I guess that’s all for now. I hope this
post will be helpful for all of you. See you in the next post!
